Vaccine management reunites mother and daughter after COVID-19


ServiceNow vaccine management solutions are reuniting families.

ServiceNow employee Carolyn M. could never have predicted that when her mom, Linda, came to visit in 2020 all the way from Scotland, she’d nearly be stranded in the United States due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Linda did make it home but, as is true for many of us, her family’s world was turned upside down in an instant.

Now, after many long months of waiting to see each other again in person, Carolyn and Linda see a light at the end of the tunnel, thanks to vaccination efforts supported in part by ServiceNow vaccine management solutions.

Vaccine management simplified

In late December 2020, ServiceNow teamed up with National Health Service (NHS) Scotland to ensure an efficient rollout of COVID-19 vaccines. Linda was among the millions of people the nation vaccinated.

Today, more than 100 organizations—including Children’s Minnesota and the state of North Carolina—are using the ServiceNow Vaccine Administration Management solution. Its out-of-the-box capabilities allow people to:

  • Schedule appointments.
  • Receive appointment notifications from vaccine providers.
