As employee #185, Nic has seen all phases of ServiceNow's growth. What brought him here after a career in the Navy was the people. He lost his tribe when he left the military but found a new one at ServiceNow. “It was really the people that just kind of got me,” says Nic. “People are the company.” As a hiring manager, he looks for talented people who aren’t afraid to tell him the truth, even if it’s not a popular opinion. As a manager, he wants decisions to be more informed and for the team to benefit from collective perspectives.
His team of developers, systems engineering lab folks, and product owners listen to calls to understand customer problems and engineer solutions. The ServiceNow platform is essentially a development tool so Nic and his team can be innovative and develop the right solutions to help customers be faster and more efficient.
